This spring, KAT-TUN member Yuichi Nakamaru (24) entered Waseda University as a correspondence student in the Department of Human Behavior and Environment Sciences. He attended an entrance ceremony at Waseda's Toyama campus on April 1.

Nakamaru started thinking of attending university in 2005. He had developed an interest in environmental studies, and he decided to take an exam in December 2006. About a year later, he was selected for admission after going through the interview process and entrance examination.

Nakamaru said he is serious about graduating, even if "it takes him 8 years."

In the middle of April, NTV’s Wideshow(ワイドショー) featured a CM-ranking segment in which they claimed that It-boy Oguri Shun was number 1 in terms of number of CM appearances.

However, everybody’s favourite talent-company Johnny’s Jimusho got really miffed + ticked off, lodging a complaint against NTV and demanding an apology from them. Reason? Because of an apparent counting error. If you count KimuTaku’s appearances with SMAP on CMs, KimuTaku becomes the obvious winner of that rank (even though technically, I presume, Shun-kun would still come in 1st on the “individual appearances in CMs”-rank). Apparently NTV was even made to air the apology.

"Gokusen 3" cast revealed

The main student cast for the NTV drama "Gokusen 3" has been revealed. Yuya Takaki (of Hey! Say! JUMP) will play the lead male role, and is joined by Haruma Miura, Hideo Ishiguro, Junta Nakama (B.A.D.), Akito Kiriyama (also of B.A.D.), and Shohei Miura.

Roughly 600 actors applied for the parts, and 300 were selected for an interview and audition.

As previously announced, Yukie Nakama is reprising her role as "Yankumi." The series begins this April.

SUPER JUNIORS in PHILIPPINES!!

In yet another confirmation of Super Junior's stature, the group is scheduled to be the first Korean boyband to hold a premiere in the Philippines for the Korean Community 16th Anniversary in January. The pop group sensation will travel first to Indonesia, two days before their performance in Tokyo Dome, and announced their premiere performance at the Expo Filipino Clark Philippines at an official press conference on Wednesday.

SM Entertainment, which is promoting Super Junior's Asian Tour, recently agreed to bring the "Super Junior Horizon" tour to the Tokyo Dome on January 24. The Dome has hosted the world's top talents, such as Mariah Carey, the Rolling Stones, and Beyonce. The Dome, which is also the home of the Yomiuri Giants and Korean slugger Lee Seung Yeop, is the ultimate dream of many Japanese performers, but only top-drawer local acts have ascended its stage, including Ayumi Hamasaki, Glay, and SMAP.

SM Entertainment announced the news in Japan and said, "With Japan as the axis, Super Junior will spread the wave to Southeast Asia. Now the group is reconfirming its stature with the premiere at the Tokyo Dome."

Their Asian Tour means that the group is one step further from being just a Korean group and one step closer to be an Asian group.

Lingering rumors say that SM Entertainment was worried about bringing Super Junior's tour, which would mean just once performance to the said domes. The group, however, decided to go ahead with the idea, believing themselves to be "Asia's group" and also being eager to be the first Korean group to perform at the fabled stadium in the Philippines.

10 members of Super Junior are scheduled to appear at the Seollal Festival and Korean Community Founding Anniversary Celebration, in Expo Filipino, Clark, Philippines on February 6 and 7.

The event will be broadcast on NHK which is extremely well prepared by the Korean Embassy in the Philippines. Eight other Korean Personalities have been invited to the said event, and this event is said to be the surge in popularity of Korean entertainers in the Philippines.

The boys have both had great success in other Asian countries like China, Indonesia and Malaysia and have held many events and fan meetings separately. However, this will be the first time that the group will come together in Philippines to participate in an event. Reports of the famous young heart throbs have already been reported throughout Philippines and fans are extremely excited about the event. It is not yet confirmed in what manner they appear on stage.

Suspended for underage drinking then started fresh as a trainee, former NEWS member Uchi Hiroki (21) held a press conference on the 3rd of the month as the lead in a drama for an official comeback. He will be acting as a high school track and field athlete in the Fuji TV drama 化作一瞬的风 (Isshun no kaze ni nare) which will be on for four consecutive days starting Feb. 25th, 11:00PM.

After almost two and a half years of absence, Uchi gives a heartfelt speech in public. Standing with his head down, "I am really grateful for being given this opportunity to come back with this job. Former NEWS member Hiroki Uchi is making his return to the small screen with a lead role in a Fuji TV drama mini-series. Titled "Isshun no Kaze ni Nare," the show will air for four consecutive nights at 11:00pm, starting on February 25.

The drama is based on a novel by author Takako Sato that was published in 3 volumes in 2006. Last year, it won the Honya Taisho and the Eiji Yoshikawa Cultural Prize. It was also turned into a manga illustrated by Tsuyoshi Yasuda that is currently being serialized in Kodansha's Magazine Special.

The story revolves around a high schooler who enters the world of track and field

yay.. just finished watching 'Nobuta wo Produce' for less than 1 day.. hah.. really proud of myself.. watched it the whole day..

since tht i've been to JE recently,.. there's actually no time to watch doramas where Jimusho's are starring... I"M REALLY LATE NE..!

then yesterday, instead of buying an iPod.. teh money tht i will use to buy it is used in a diff way..
here's what happened..

yesterday, when i'm with mah aunt and mah nephew at the mall,.. i'm thinkin to buy tht iPod.. but when i went to their store nd after fallin in line for almost 30 minutes,.. when it's mah turn,.. i've asked the sales lady but she said.. it's OUT OF STACK!... then i was like... ALLAINE SHOCK! (*allaine=akira*)

then we decided to went home,.. but before tht,.. went to another mall coz mah aunt needs to buy somethin... so i let them go by their selves while i'm searchin for an iPod.. while i'm searchin,.. i just passed into a dorama stall,.. then turn back and saw many doramas where Pi is starring.. and other JE too...

so..
what happened next is the same as what you think now.. LOL..

anyways..
tht 'NOBUTA WO PRODUCE' made me think and reflect with mah self ne..
it has something tht will make u think about urself ne!..

LOLzz.. i saw some blog where the blog mistress experienced to eat at their restaurant and she even talked to Aiba-chan's okaasan.. then, when she said that she's from a foreign country and went to Japan to watch Arashi's con.. Aiba-chan's okaasan gave her some goodies.. oh.. and she had taken some pics at the restaurant,.. there are lots of Arashi pics everywhere...and when she went to the con.. Aiba-chan's okaasan remembered her and talked to her.. HOW LUCKY, NE?

Once again, this release featured only six members, as Kusano Hironori and Uchi Hiroki were demoted to the status of "trainees". Hoshi wo Mezashite was used as the theme song of the Japanese release of the film Happy Feet for which member Tegoshi Yuya voiced the main character.

very excited to see the play,..
it's bec,.. my english teacher is one of the cast,.. he's not just an ordinary teach,..
he's very close to us nd he's BFF wit my homeroom teach,..
this play today is special for Imus Institue's studs,..

he's from mah batch,.. and member of our school dance group,..'Vhinatilyoh'z'

On Monday [September 24, 2007], Johnny's Jimusho held a press conference to announce the formation and debut of a new unit, named Hey! Say! JUMP (short for Johnny's Ultra Music Power). The group is the largest Johnny's act in history, featuring 10 members in all.
JUMP is an expansion of the Hey! Say! 7 unit that formed earlier this year. Five members have been added, and the lineup has been split into two sub-units. Hey! Say! Best will consist of the five high schoolers: Kota Yabu, Yuya Takaki, Kei Inoo, Hikaru Yaotome, and Daiki Arioka. The younger members will become the new Hey! Say! 7, consisting of Yuto Nakajima, Keito Okamoto, Ryosuke Yamada, Yuri Chinen, and Ryutaro Morimoto. Together, the members of JUMP have an average age of 15 years old.

The group's first single will be released on November 14, titled "Ultra Music Power." The song will be the theme for Fuji TV's broadcast of the Volleyball World Cup, which is being held in Japan starting in November.

In addition, their first concert on their own is scheduled for December 22 at the Tokyo Dome.

The newly-formed Johnny's Jr. unit Hey! Say! 7 has been chosen to sing the new theme songs for the currently-airing "Lovely Complex" anime series. From July until September, the opening song will be "Hey! Say!" and the ending song will be "BON BON." The two songs will be released together on CD on August 1.

Hey! Say! 7 formed in April and consists of five members: Yuto Nakajima, Yuri Chinen, Ryosuke Yamada, Daiki Arioka, and Yuya Takaki.

Oricon Charts: Hey!Say!7 youngest to reach #1

According to Oricon's sales charts this week, Johnny's unit Hey! Say! 7 came in at #1 with their single, "Hey! Say!" They sold an estimated 121,000 copies, edging out TVXQ's "Summer Dream" by about 8,000 units.

With this release, the group has become the youngest male group to top the singles chart. The five members have an average age of 14.8. The previous record was set in 1987 by Hikaru Genji, with an average of 16.1.

Meanwhile, TVXQ was not the only Korean group in the Top 10. SS501 barely made the cut with "Kokoro," their Japanese debut. This accomplishment actually makes them the first Asian (non-Japanese) group to enter the Top 10 with their debut single.

On the album charts, Sukima Switch took #1 with their first best album, "Greatest Hits." Orange Range's two best albums were bumped to #2 and #3.

there is no classes today bec. of the release of the report cards or the Form 138.. yay,.. but i did woke up pretty early,.. need to go to school and practice our English subject's speech choir,.. but we didn't do anything,... hehehe,.. that's the way it is,.. wahehehehe..
i've been really tired bec. of that "Science Fair" yesterday,.. i'm assigned in the cheering competition,.. early in the morning our event chairman told me that the registration of the participants will be canceled so, i will just get the CDs from the teams and give it to the man who is assigned for the sound systemt thing,.. but that work is really tiring,... i need to run bec. the other team's CD is lost,.. and there are lot of participants that are not ready,.. i also assisted the sound system man on the CDs,.. i searched for each teams choreographers to assist me with their music,... haizzz...

but even though the Science Fair is really tiring,... it gave us happiness and fulfillment that we're able to finish and do our assigned task,..

also,.. been close with my friend's choreo,.. and the other one is really childish,.. and we also took the chance to ask them to choreo our Flag Dance for October,.. .. have pics of them,.. will pOst it later after i get the pics from Lea,.. i also want the video of them,.. try to upload it later... it's in the digicam..

last night and .. early in the morning today,.. i've downloaded 3 Arashi songs without even knowing any information about the song. The first one is "Be With You" then "Cry for You" and early this morning, i've downloaded "Carry On".

you know,.. i've just downloaded the songs that my DL instincts produce... and i'm happy with the result. Arashi really produces nice music.. with different sound and genre.

because of that, i've decided to download all songs from their "Time" album and also the Limited Edition songs.. heheehehe... that's my goal now,.. so,.. gonna keep downloading their songs till monday coz after monday,.. school is back to normal..
